"Goldfields 2023" 4wd Adventure

Held across the Melbourne Cup weekend 2023 near Castlemaine, in the heart of the Victorian historic goldfields, this 3 day event will take you and your family to some fantastic historical locations. 

"It’s 1854 and the gold rush is on! Tent cities are popping up in gullies throughout the hills.  The bush is buzzing with the influx of men women and children from near and far, all wanting their slice of the riches from the Great Gold Rush.  Of course where there is money… their are thieves.. and in 1854, in the southern central gold fields of Victoria the most fearful of them all was the dreaded duo known as “Gunslinging Gary” and “Gravedigger Dan”.  The Gunslinger and the Gravedigger hid out in the bush, living off the land and robbing camps, miners, mail coaches and anywhere they might find money or gold.
